A: Typical DSL services runs at 7mb/s near the central office, to 12 kbp/s further away. iSpeed services run at 45 mb/s, no matter how far away you are from our office. That’s up to 10-times faster!

Q: What if I already have an existing transceiver (Radio) on my property? Can I use that?
A: Your transceiver may be compatible. Contact us to schedule a free evaluation of your existing equipment.
Q: I’m not currently in your coverage area. Does iSpeed plan to offer service to my neighborhood?
A: Yes! Please see our coverage area map at www.iSpeedUtah.com. You may also contact us at 801.253.6776 to verify if we are in your area, or when we might be there.
Q: Right now I only have dial-up Internet service available. Can I still get your service?
A: Yes! Please check our coverage map to see if iSpeed is available in your area, and email or call 801.253.6776 to set up your service.
Q: What if I live in an apartment building? Can I still get service?
A: Yes, if your apartment complex offers our service. iSpeed will need to get permission from your Apartment Complex. Here’s where you can help: We offer a rebate program for referrals. This means you can talk to your Landlord and let them know about us. If they agree to bring iSpeed service into the complex for the building you can receive rebates and incentives. Q: Qwest, AOL etc. said I can’t get DSL, but you say I can get Hi-Speed Internet. How is that possible?
A: DSL still has distance limitations and requires a phone line. Our wireless communication brings superior service without buried cables, so we can get to your area fast!
Q: All I have is a cell phone. Can I get iSpeed service?
A: Yes! Your iSpeed service is in no way connected to your existing telephone lines.
Q: What can I expect the installers to do?
A: We professionally train all of our installers to be respectful, efficient, well trained, and prepared to get your system into place with a minimum of headache and mess. They will make every effort to maintain the beauty of your home, both inside and outside, during the installation. They will place the radio for the best reception while maintaining the look of your home, and run an Ethernet cable down to a room of your choice, and then help you configure your computer for service.
Q: How will the Radio antenna look on my house?
A: We understand the cosmetics of your home are important to you and it is our pledge to make the mounting of our antennas as inconspicuous as possible and still maintain a clear signal for high speeds.
Q: Can I cancel and get my money back if I am not happy with the service?
A: iSpeed offers a Thirty-day Money Back guarantee for services and a full refund for the return of the radio if cancelled within the first thirty days. The installation fee is non-refundable. Q: Does iSpeed provide content filtering for objectionable material.
A: iSpeed does not provide content filtering or censorship. Ask our customer service department for recommendations on content filtering solutions.
Q: Will the services provided by iSpeed be compatible with my Mac?
A: Yes, iSpeed services are compatible with all Ethernet-capable operating systems, including Mac, Windows, Linux run computer systems.
Q: Do I need to keep my Earthlink/AOL/etc. account to receive your services?
A That is your choice. By signing up with iSpeed, you will no longer need their internet services. However we are compatible with web-based portals of other services, so you can still keep the email accounts and instant messengers you are currently using.
Q: How is this different from satellite? Will weather affect my Internet service like it affects my satellite service?
A: No. With satellite-based services, the dish can become obstructed by snow, precipitation, fallen leaves, and other weather conditions. With iSpeed, there is no dish to worry about, so you can enjoy Hi-Speed internet access all of the time.
Q: What is the difference between DSL and Wireless?
A: DSL runs over a phone-line. Wireless is not limited by wires.
Q: If I have a wireless card, do I still need an antenna?
A: Yes! The equipment that connects your house to our system travels greater distances than a computer wireless card can achieve.
